BMW challenges blockchain
Initially focused on Thailand-based customers, the new loyalty program will leverage the BNB chain and Coinweb to build a decentralized structure. This structure allows users to earn loyalty points and move up the tier ladder. Over time, these points can be used to redeem rewards for purchasing products and services from brands.
As we have seen recently, several major companies are incorporating NFTs into their reward programs. Basically, offering them as a way to get the benefits of the user and her BMW can go very well. BMW also filed several NFT-related patents this year that could point to similar initiatives.
