Metaversal is bankless newsletter Weekly level-ups for NFTs, virtual worlds and collectibles
Dear country without banks
Exploring NFTs can feel like a solo mission in a strange new world.
what we need is collect Own and manage the Internet’s new class of digital collectibles.
Is there one project working on just such a resource? Tessera.
This week, Tessera announced three exciting products aimed at streamlining the collective NFT experience in new ways. Let’s give an overview of these rollouts.

Tessera Just introduced new tessera.co Website, Tessera Marketplace, Tessera Protocol. This trio of products marks the official debut of his Tessera in the NFT ecosystem after the team rebranded from his 1.0 system of the project, Fractional, in August 2022.
Recently, the Tessera team is paving the way for its formal launch by publishing some descriptions of the 2.0 mechanisms of the new Tessera protocol.
These new mechanisms include:
-
🏛️ vault — A non-custodial smart contract wallet that can lock up NFTs for joint ownership, creating a kick-off auction for ‘Raes’
-
🌟 Wraith — ERC1155 stored NFTs or NFTs representing governance and ownership over NFTs
-
🛒 Last Price Dutch Auction — “LPDA” is currently the primary method of distributing Raes in Tessera. It’s a Dutch auction style system with prices going down similar to Tyler Hobbs’s QQL sale.
-
💰 optimistic buyout — A new way to suggest the purchase of custodial NFTs that emphasizes finding fair prices
If you want a sneak peek at the new Tessera rollout, tessera.co Sign in with your Ethereum wallet. The homepage will feature a selection of his NFT Vaults for the project. Cryptopunk #4847.

Or, if you’re interested in hoarding one of your NFTs, the Tessera team has curated an interesting opportunity. from the submission form Feel free to contact us if you think it’s a good fit.
Tessera’s mission is to make it easier than ever to own cool things with others on the internet.
Of course, the web3 collective ownership sector has been wide open early on, but Tessera is pushing forward with its release how groups, not just individuals, can join together on-chain using a new kind of NFT tool.
People often joke that cryptocurrencies are “PVP”. This is a reference to the fierce game concept of player versus player. In contrast, as projects like Tessera and its tools continue to gain momentum, I think there will be an increasing emphasis on squading up and working together through NFTs.
The Tessera team will continue to curate “culturally significant and historical pieces of internet history” for the new Vault system. That said, we should keep an eye out for new Raes secondary marketplaces that keep popping up around notable NFTs.
Additionally, look for other NFT projects to start plugging into Tessera’s open infrastructure. For example, Tessera co-founder Andy Chorlian hinted that his NFT aggregator system at Uniswap is ready to be plugged into his Tessera Marketplace soon.
