In the weeks since NFT emotes came out, the community has already released around 150 different poses, actions and dance moves, and the recent addition of looping emotes has opened up even more potential possibilities. With the Metaverse Music Festival just around the corner, it’s a great time to think about what emotes you’d like to see stageside. festival!
To foster that creative inspiration, the Decentraland Foundation is hosting a Music Festival Emote Contest with some exciting prizes to incentivize.
What do I have to do to enter?
Anyone can participate in the contest. Simply fill out the official form to create, publish and submit the best and most unique dance/music festival related emotes. Link
The form asks for your email so that we can contact you if you are selected as a winner and to get a link to your emote on the marketplace. You should also add the #MVMF22 tag. See below for details.

First place: 800 MANA and the honor and bragging rights that come with being the official emote for Metaverse Music Festival 2022! This means your emote will be used in promotional materials for the festival and featured during the four-day event. . This will allow more people to see it and direct them to your emote’s page on the Marketplace.
2nd to 9th place: 600 mana
rule
- To be eligible, your emote must be approved and published on the DCL Marketplace by the contest deadline.
- Emotes should be dance/music festival related.
- Entrants may submit up to 3 emotes and claim only 1 prize.
- By submitting an emote to the competition, the entrant grants the Decentraland Foundation permission to use depictions of the emote in marketing materials and to share on social media.
- MANA winnings will only be credited to the creator’s wallet address linked to the emote on the Marketplace.
- Submissions are Official Contest Entry Form before the deadline for 7:00 AM UTC on October 31, 2022.
