FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried is one of the guests scheduled to attend during the flagship blockchain event
Bahamas-based cryptocurrency derivatives exchange FTX Naming rights sponsor of this year’s edition of Australian Blockchain Week. The festival will run from his March 21st to 25th and will feature 75 online, in-person and hybrid events.
Key topics covered include taxation, the metaverse revolution, sovereign digital currencies, venture capital, Web3 and its implications for privacy, and regulation. More than 200 speakers are expected to attend, including blockchain entrepreneur Sam Bankman-Fried.
Details regarding the terms of the partnership were not disclosed at the time of writing.but in him LinkedIn post Announcing the deal, Steve Vallas, head of Blockchain Australia (organizer of the festival), explained that the milestone is a massive one.

The FTX chief executive has called the Australian crypto ecosystem “vibrating and innovative.” Bankman-Fried said the exchange plans to foster and advance the growth of this blockchain space, and the partnership is the first effort in line with this goal.
