The hotel giant and parent of Holiday Inn and Regent Hotels has partnered with a contemporary artist Claire Laxton. Together they launch an exciting new NFT collection with luxury at its heart.

InterContinental Hotels & ResortsThe new collection consists of 10 exclusive NFTs inspired by the beauty of traveling the world with natural flora and fauna. This style is celebrated by Clare Luxton’s other work, and she uses it again to represent her company’s legacy and far-flung destinations. Motifs are animated in a virtual NFT gallery that includes a blue-and-yellow macaw representing Brazil’s first Intercontinental hotel and a panther her chameleon, a nod to the Intercontinental resort in Mauritius.

The NFT Collection marks InterContinental Hotels & Resorts’ first step into Web3. It’s also a first for Claire Luxton, with pieces selling for up to £5000.

Owning an NFT from the collection grants Loba Intercontinental Ambassador status. This status confers great perks and prestigious recognition within the company’s rewards program.

Ruxton said: “This collection will allow people to collect my work digitally for the first time and will bring a new wave of art viewers to Intercontinental Fold.”
