Stealcam is an innovative “photo theft” game built on the Arbitrum Layer 2 (L2) scaling solution.

To play, users create their own photo as an NFT. Other players can then steal the photo as they please. Start by simply snapping a photo or uploading from your camera roll, and as a pixelated photo he’ll be posted to Stealcam.

Example Stealcam Profile

Stealcam allows only the current owner of an NFT to publish its images, so other users can steal and publish their own photos. After a photo is stolen, its price goes up and the original creator gets a piece of her ETH each time this happens.

The proceeds from stealing memories are shared between the creator of the NFT, the person who stole it, and Stealcam. Each time memory is stolen, the price increases by 10% of the previous price plus 0.001 ETH. The previous owner gets the amount of ETH she originally paid, and the remaining price difference is split 45% to the creator, 45% to the previous owner, and 10% to Stealcam.

Stealcam is exhilarating. L2 is light and fun, with interesting “steal and earn” elements that create an extra layer of interest.

We’ve also already seen that the platform is used in different ways. People have created memes, essay previews, selfies, thirst traps, and more.I’ve minted some my favorite AI output These days, for example, add fun wrinkles to share them.

How you approach Stealcam is up to you, but I think it’s one of the most interesting apps in cryptocurrency worth trying right now. Due to its uniqueness, it doesn’t fit well into the existing categories here. It’s not just a game, it’s not just a social media platform, it’s not just a mining protocol.

When it comes to Stealcam, I think it’s a new era of carefree decentralized apps that enjoy mainstream appeal. interesting Rather than focus on the web3 niche.

Of course, remember that Stealcam is very new and still in beta. But if you’ve never tried an Arbitrum app before and want to try it out, consider adding it to your to-do list soon.
