In the noun ecosystem, there are several variations of the word “noun” that have very specific and important meanings.

If you’re new to this project, or just haven’t caught up yet, check out this mini glossary. This mini glossary is mostly borrowed from my site. The Original September 2021 Metaversal Guide to noun:

🏰 noun — 10 founders of the Nouns project (but not limited to) 4156, Domand greplin.
⚙️ noun protocol — Open source suite of smart contracts Generate and auction one noun per day.
💎 noun — Member of Nouns DAO and one of its official members On-chain NFT avatar Produced by the Noun Protocol, all released to the public domain via CCO. All nouns are similarly rare, as the project “has no clear rules about attribute rarity”.
🗳 noun DAO — an aggregate of noun-holders working together Accept community suggestions Manage the Treasury (1 noun = 1 vote) collected from daily noun auctions. Its Treasury is currently +28,000 ETH strong!
🖼️ noun derivation — Projects that build on the Nouns protocol infrastructure or create art derived from Nouns imagery.

At the moment, the lowest price for a noun NFT is about 31 ETH in OpenSea.

Most people don’t have enough ETH to spend to become a Nouns DAO voter.but most people again I don’t know there is a way to vote 99.9% cheaper on Nouns DAO. Bud Light N3XT NFTwhose lower bound is currently less than 0.01 ETH.

Background: In early 2022, Nouns DAO and Bud Light signed a deal.Bud Light received nouns, especially beer-themed ones noun179in exchange for Bud Light featuring the noun Noggle at the premiere super bowl commercial In 2022.

What initiatives has Nouns supported recently? Below is a summary of the last 10 proposals approved by the Nouns DAO.

🎥 Bill No. 289 ――The proposal this time was to maintain the services of the 10-person video production company Knownish team. The goal is to create a series of videos focused on the Nouns community and its accomplishments.
🎤️ Bill No. 288 — The proposal was about the development of an open edition mint of noun-themed music videos. Entitled “100 Nounish Things,” the video celebrates Nouns’ accomplishments over the past year and a half. Proceeds from the Mint will be split 50% to Nouns DAO and 50% to Video Producers.
🧸 Bill No. 287 ――The proposal this time was about the production of a minifigure for “Noonish Friends”. These 3-inch tall minifigures are designed to be a fun, stylish, low-cost, gateway to the world of non-crypto-based nouns. Minifigures are modular and packed in Mystery Boxes, designed for distribution in museum shops, luxury retailers and lifestyle stores around the world.
🧻 Bill No. 286 — The proposal was about creating Nouns brand wet wipes. The wipes are produced by a Malaysian manufacturer and will be sold at various retail outlets to increase brand awareness. The proposal includes the costs of manufacturing, packaging and selling the wipes.
🍕 Bill No. 284 — The proposal was to collaborate with PizzaDAO to host a global pizza party in preparation for Bitcoin Pizza Day on May 22, 2023. The party was held in over 90 cities around the world and the proposal included purchasing pizza from an independent pizzeria and marketing the pizza. event.
✅ Bill No. 282 — The proposal was about reducing the maximum quorum of the noun DAO voting process from 20% to 15%. Its purpose is to protect the DAO from voter indifference, encourage greater voter participation and delegation, and improve the health of the DAO.
📁 Bill 280 — The proposal was about naming Noun 687 “JellO” using the “NFTR” NFT ID registry system. The NFTR protocol is on Ethereum, but similar to ENS, but aimed at NFTs instead of wallets. The proposal was intended to give Noun 687 its own NFTR domain and profile page accessible under the name “JellO.nftr.name”.
📱 Bill No. 279 — The proposal was for funding a turnkey consumer device for ethOS, an open-source mobile-friendly operating system for Ethereum.
🛡 Bill No. 278 — The proposal involved minting 5,000 “Stand with Crypto” NFTs and donating $100,000 to the Gitcoin Crypto Advocacy Round. The proposal was intended to secure the top spot for the most mints in this open edition.
🔑 Bill No. 277 — The proposal aimed to create a popular and unique piece of hardware that would fit in your pocket, yet be low cost. In this proposal, he commissioned 75Ξ to develop and produce 600 Artisanal Noggles LED Keychains.

To that end, the noun ecosystem is full of great resources to help you explore and further your noun journey in a variety of ways. Some of the best of these resources at the moment include:

📚 noun center — The Nouns DAO knowledge center and resource hub, providing comprehensive information about the project, its ecosystem and community. It also provides resources for development, funding opportunities, and ways to participate in the growing noun ecosystem.
🪙 prop house — A Nouns DAO-funded public infrastructure resource that serves as an experimental platform for the community to deploy capital. There are two things that elements of the Nouns DAO are currently considering that could have far-reaching implications for the crypto space going forward. Angry Naunish and Private ZK-based DAO voting.

As for ragequit, there is currently no mechanism for people dissatisfied with the project to “dip out” of the Nouns DAO. That said, the team led by the developers David Blaylowski and Elad Murrell is working on a “DAO splitting mechanism” that can bring simple ragequit functionality to Nouns DAO. If this team gets the design right, it will be widely adopted in the Nounish DAO ecosystem. Many of the Nounish DAOs now exist courtesy of Zora. noun builder DAO deployer.

As for private DAO voting, Noun is currently backing open-source design efforts that enable private voting using zero-knowledge (zk) proofs.
