Dear country without banks

for me, noun is the most ambitious and visionary NFT experiment on Ethereum today.

that is Endless public art and software movement. decentralized brand. The marvel of smart contract architecture. His DAO active and growing. On-chain innovator of “one a day” NFT creation flow. A collective of Ethereum natives funding creative and cultural endeavors. Proponent of public goods in the crypto economy. ETH staker via Lido.

I could go on, but do you have an idea? Nouns are special, and I personally think spending time exploring in the NFT space is the most interesting endeavor.

So let’s say you’re interested in becoming more Nounish, but haven’t tracked the project in detail and don’t know where to start. Don’t worry, I will help you. Introducing the latest information on nouns.

In the noun ecosystem, there are several variations of the word “noun” that have very specific and important meanings.

If you’re new to this project, or just haven’t caught up yet, check out this mini glossary. This mini glossary is mostly borrowed from my site. The Original September 2021 Metaversal Guide to noun:

  • 🏰 noun — 10 founders of the Nouns project (but not limited to) 4156, Domand greplin.

  • ⚙️ noun protocolOpen source suite of smart contracts Generate and auction one noun per day.

  • 💎 noun — Member of Nouns DAO and one of its official members On-chain NFT avatar Produced by the Noun Protocol, all released to the public domain via CCO. All nouns are similarly rare, as the project “has no clear rules about attribute rarity”.

  • 🗳 noun DAO — an aggregate of noun-holders working together Accept community suggestions Manage the Treasury (1 noun = 1 vote) collected from daily noun auctions. Its Treasury is currently +28,000 ETH strong!

  • 🖼️ noun derivation — Projects that build on the Nouns protocol infrastructure or create art derived from Nouns imagery.

  • 🕛 noun time — the time at which the current noun auction ends (Click here for the calendar).

  • 😎 Noggle — The distinctive glasses found on all Nouns and the de facto logo for the Nouns DAO and Nounish efforts in general.

  • naunish — the spirit of good vibes found in people and projects that embody and extend the noun’s mission.

At the moment, the lowest price for a noun NFT is about 31 ETH in OpenSea.

Most people don’t have enough ETH to spend to become a Nouns DAO voter.but most people again I don’t know there is a way to vote 99.9% cheaper on Nouns DAO. Bud Light N3XT NFTwhose lower bound is currently less than 0.01 ETH.

Background: In early 2022, Nouns DAO and Bud Light signed a deal.Bud Light received nouns, especially beer-themed ones noun179in exchange for Bud Light featuring the noun Noggle at the premiere super bowl commercial In 2022.

With that said, the N3XT NFT will act as an access pass to Bud Light’s web3 community and one of the perks of the pass is to determine how Noun 179 will vote on proposals before the Nouns DAO. You can vote jointly with other N3XT owners. If you need (indirect) voting access in your DAO, you can’t beat the ~0.01 ETH price of N3XT NFTs at the moment.

If you dive in, notice how noun 179 votes. Using snapshots Whenever there are active suggestions. You may also receive notifications of proposals, bud light discord.

What initiatives has Nouns supported recently? Below is a summary of the last 10 proposals approved by the Nouns DAO.

So let’s say you know the basics, got your first N3XT NFT to help pilot the Noun 179, and have your eye on Nouns DAO governance. what next?

To that end, the noun ecosystem is full of great resources to help you explore and further your noun journey in a variety of ways. Some of the best of these resources at the moment include:

  • 🪙 prop house — A Nouns DAO-funded public infrastructure resource that serves as an experimental platform for the community to deploy capital. We host a fundraising round at our community house, where builders submit ideas, community token holders vote on ideas, and the top proposals receive funding. There are two things that elements of the Nouns DAO are currently considering that could have far-reaching implications for the crypto space going forward. Angry Naunish and Private ZK-based DAO voting.

As for ragequit, there is currently no mechanism for people dissatisfied with the project to “dip out” of the Nouns DAO. That said, the team led by the developers David Blaylowski and Elad Murrell is working on a “DAO splitting mechanism” that can bring simple ragequit functionality to Nouns DAO. If this team gets the design right, it will be widely adopted in the Nounish DAO ecosystem. Many of the Nounish DAOs now exist courtesy of Zora. noun builder DAO deployer.

As for private DAO voting, Noun is currently backing open-source design efforts that enable private voting using zero-knowledge (zk) proofs. For example, when a noun voter wishes to remain anonymous while voting on a publicly controversial proposal. To this end, nouns are Aztec x Aragon team To build this voting technology. Keep an eye on this as it is yet another infrastructure that will be widely adopted in this space in the future.
