LACMA and Cactoid Labs Launch NFT Art Exhibition

LACMA and blockchain consultancy Cactoid Labs have teamed up to create this groundbreaking NFT art project. Def Beef’s “Future Memories” Project

Deafbeef’s project “Remembrance of Things Future” was inspired by renowned British photographer Eadweard Muybridge. Eadweard Muybridge is noted for his pioneering photographic studies of movement and his early work in 19th-century cinema projection.

Similar to Muybridge’s masterpiece The Horse in Motion, Deafbeef created a chronograph still image sequence, but by enabling a smart contract to switch each image to a separate NFT, the original It was different.
