How this tool can help NFT
Announced on November 15, 2022, and in partnership with Laconic Network, the tool allows both individuals and organizations to easily access a copy of the MobyMask anti-phishing registry. Having a copy of this registry makes it easy to evade known phishers.
The tool is still in its early stages, but the official announcement hints that more development is coming soon.
“The current version of MobyMask focuses on Twitter phishing, but will eventually expand to all types of phishing, including websites, smart contracts and new social media platforms.,” said.
However, given the fact that Twitter is a major source of phishing schemes and official accounts have been hacked and persisted, this is a good place to start. And given the number of NFTs lost to phishing schemes each year, such tools are much needed in the industry.
