A new startup called MNTGE brings authentic vintage fashion to the metaverse. The company aims to create digital copies of rare fashion pieces and make them available in the metaverse.

MNTGEis pronounced “mint” and is the brainchild of entrepreneur and Snoop Dogg brand manager Nick Adler. He worked with Sean Wotherspoon and Brennan Russo to bring the idea to life. Wotherspoon was the designer of his sneakers and owner of his streetwear store, and Russo was his former marketing manager at Adidas.

Adler claims he and Russo were visiting Wotherspoon’s store when the idea came to him. They started discussing the idea and saw an opportunity in a potential mashup of vintage fashion and NFTs. Although they are different products, they have unique characteristics that appeal to buyers.

This Wednesday is the official launch of the digital fashion startup. It also features an Ethereum NFT called MNTGE Pass, as the company seeks to bridge the gap between physical vintage fashion and NFTs. The final product will be a digital wearable that can be used on various metaverse platforms.

The company also plans to build a community that loves fashion and streetwear. These individuals have priority access to authentic vintage finds.

MNTGE plans to release digital fashion pieces by Q1 2023

When the MNTGE Pass is launched, the company has various plans. The first is a digital fashion drop curated by Wotherspoon by Q1 2023. This allows people to see what kind of technology a company uses. It is used to create digital doubles of movie actors as well as the use of high-end capture systems. This technology is used to recreate physical vintage apparel.

According to Wotherspoon, Start-up aim bring up “A level of detail and imagination never before seen in Web3 wear.”
