NFT marketplace Blur recently gained considerable ground on OpenSea.
Now OpenSea has responded accordingly with its own tactics. Existing NFT marketplace juggernaut has announced a 0% commission test, optional royalties, and the removal of his Blur from the blocklist.
oi! The entire NFT space is now caught in the crossfire between Blur and OpenSea.

It was the fifth time in recent weeks that the cumulative market cap of the NFT space has risen, this time at 9.36 million ETH It was up 2.75% from last Friday’s summary. Recently, the number of addresses interacting with NFTs has stabilized, but activity levels with NFTs have been on the rise for over a month.
The Otherdeeds plot was the most traded NFT collection this week, both in terms of volume (£22,604) and number sold (10,555). The Moonbirds came a distant second to him. Moonbirds has recently had its own hot deal, followed by the MAYC, BAYC and Azuki collections.
The long-awaited $BLUR airdrop arrived this week, revealing the $BLUR rewards for Season 2. These development buzz put Blur decisively ahead of OpenSea in this week’s de facto trading volume contest.
After seeing several huge collectible sales over £800 last week, this week’s top NFT sales were much more real by comparison. As always, though, ‘Punks and Bored Apes remains the collection with the most recent transactions.
This is not a specific mint per se, but the mint’s new discovery system. Zora rolled out a new home page UI centered around aggregating his NFT edition releases and drops from across the ecosystem. If you like surfing when new projects arrive, this new home page experience is certainly something to put on your radar.
