Departure details
In a statement dated 25 January 2023, Duncan Cockfoster explained that when the project was first acquired by Gemini in 2019, he and his brother agreed to stay for four years before departing. bottom.
“We were able to stay for the maximum amount of time we originally thought. This just shows how great the experience has been!” He added that he had been preparing to move out.
Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss (CEO of Gemini) assured customers that they would take Nifty to new heights, and Duncan Cock Foster promised to release a future roadmap for the project in the coming weeks. Interestingly, he said he and his brother will be launching new projects after taking the sabbatical, though it is not yet known what they will do in the future.
He also mentioned some of Nifty Gateway’s milestones so far, including paying out more than $500 million to artists and pioneering new ways to sell NFTs.
