LAND sales exploded in The Sandbox this week with the launch of the Infinite Pulse LAND sale on Friday. His 886 individual LAND trades pushed 7D’s trading volume up 383.31% to 273.94 ETH, pushing OneLand’s metaverse heat index into the red zone.

But prices, which appeared to be consistently falling, overcame a possible rise in the rand cap and rose just 0.33%, their first weekly gain since late May.

If you’re a believer in The Sandbox, you’ve just received notification that the landowner experience will be live before EOTY, so it might be a good idea to start watching closely.

Last week, Somnium Space’s volume increased significantly as plot 5089 (a limited edition plot containing a teleportation hub) traded for 6.0 ETH.

Most of the other projects’ 7D volumes were stable at best, but most suffered sharp declines. Decentraland, in the middle of Metaverse Art Week, made a dismal 7.9 ETH (-68.3%) despite the land cap rising in his fourth week.

Meanwhile, Otherdeeds trading volume (-43% at 234.3 ETH) has retreated again to just a third of what it was two months ago.

On the other hand, BYOLands volume fell by 74.7% after just five trades. But we won’t have to wait long to see if the launch of their long-awaited BYYO Racer game prompts a comeback.
