Petaverse is Decentraland’s pet park and one of the most interactive experiences for pet lovers in the metaverse to date. Developed with a grant from pet-loving Decentraland DAO, joint labthe petaverse serves as a playground for pets to play and jump around, as well as a place where users can interact and play games.
The Metaverse Experience Building Team, spread across Florida and France, will launch Petaverse in late 2021, launching a collection of backpacks for transporting pets in Decentraland. The project then evolved from wearable-centric to experience-centric with a grant proposal in March 2022, then approved by Decentraland’s community and funded by Decentraland’s DAO.

The proposal aimed to create Petaverse Park, a Decentraland experience for pet lovers and the Petaverse metaverse HQ. Petaverse Park’s grant proposal details his dual nature of the playground. It’s a building with gardens, shops, and a nightclub, yet hosts pet-related games like playing with pets, washing pets, and earning players his points. The idea is already taking shape and the Petaverse beta is live.
Redeem points for IRL Pet benefits
Earning points in the Metaverse usually doesn’t bring any real benefits to our beloved pets. A lively puppy will nibble on just about anything, but a high Metaverse score won’t keep your hunger at bay. The grantees behind Petaverse have plans to change everything in Petaverse Park.
The idea is for pet-loving users to redeem in-game points for IRL rewards offered by pet companies. It addresses one of the Metaverse’s more prominent promises (that the two worlds will somehow be integrated), and in every conceivable universe it has something to do with games, love, and entertainment: pets. do it even if By casting pets and creating special places for owners to interact with their metaverse peers, the Petaverse could pave the way for future interoperability between her Decentraland and her IRL beings. There is a nature.
petaverse team
The team at Cominted Labs, led by founders Magdalena Galarraga, Guillaume Chichmanov, and Nacho Galarraga, are not only big pet lovers, but also the power of interoperability and positive potential for both businesses and users. I understood. Marketing the project Guillaume, his expert, addresses this premise of “exchanging for material goodies whatever is earned on the other side of the poem.” “There’s definitely potential for interaction between the two worlds,” he said. As the metaverse evolves, they say, “friction between the virtual and physical worlds will become less and less, not only in terms of ownership but also user experience, and thanks to AR and interoperability standards, assets can be distributed across multiple It should be easier than ever to bring it to a place.” metaverse. “
Based on this feature, Guillaume explained that Petaverse’s goal is dual: physical and virtual. “Our long-term plan is to allow players to use the points they earn in-game to claim real benefits, such as discount codes for pet food products,” he said. We pay attention to interoperability when building Petaverse because we want users to be able to travel from one world to another “with Petaverse wearables and pet avatars.” Exchanging points for physical benefits is an ambitious, long-term pursuit, but in the current tense, the Petaverse team wants all users to redeem the points they’ve already earned with cool pet-themed wearables and his NFTs. We have expanded the ability to exchange.
Pets need care. Are you game?
One of the most engaging aspects of Petaverse so far is the Petaverse care game. This is your daily chance to catch up on high scores and win prizes on the other side of the fence. The player will come across his five pets in-game, who he needs to feed and groom once a day. Then you’ll have to go on a scavenger hunt around the park to find the items you need.As with IRL, all pets need daily care. By completing daily challenges, users earn “bones” that can be used to claim rewards from vending machines in Petaverse. Every time a user completes a Daily Challenge, the time is recorded on his petaverse leaderboard. At the end of each week, the top 10 scorers are eligible to receive special Born-Ass rewards.
The game is free to play, but users who own one of Petaverse’s NFTs can Metapo Or wearables have the added perk of earning “bones” faster. We have already deployed many rewards such as MetaPaws. “Bones” are also eligible to switch to MetaPaw upgrades (animations, accessories, clothing).
Please do not keep your puppy waiting. Petaverse is already in beta. Guillaume posts regular updates in the comments section of the proposal, including photos of pets and cute animal eyes full of his candy, and the team behind the project is making rapid progress exceeding their expectations. has achievedYou can participate in the beta by actively participating discord server and request access.
