Ethereum’s transition to Proof-of-Stake is well underway and has entered its final stages with a London hard fork. We’ve been preparing for this moment behind the scenes for some time now, but at this point we want to share a few words to let you know what to expect and what you must do. transition.
First of all, CryptoGames is fully integration ready, Support new consensus chains (those that use PoS) after that. Your ETH balance will be available on this chain through which you can deposit and withdraw. This means that Ethereum deposits and withdrawals will be suspended during the integration. We don’t have an exact time yet, so we’ll let you know in a future update.
You can access the forum (https://forum.crypto.games/topic/1094/) We will continue to add new information as it becomes available. Currently, the integration is scheduled for September 15th (estimate can be found here. https://coinmarketcap.com/events/eth-merge/), but this is still subject to change. Transactions are suspended hours before merging In the meantime, monitor the network status. While we strive to minimize disruption to our users, we will only reactivate transactions once we have verified that network conditions are stable and funds cannot be lost. We cannot yet predict how long this period will take, but as always, we will continue to keep everyone updated through our regular channels, blogs, forums, site announcements, and chat.
During the merge, not all Ethereum networks may transition to the new consensus layer. In such cases, the chain could be split between the new Ethereum using PoS and the old Ethereum using PoW, resulting in two (or more) chains competing. In such events, CryptoGames will only support the consensus layer (his new PoS chain after merging). We do not distribute split tokensIf you want to support another chain as a user, or access funds on all resulting chains, withdraw your ETH before the transaction is interrupted and handle the hard fork and subsequent events yourself. . That way you can be sure that you can operate on any chain.
You are now fully prepared for the upcoming changes to the Ethereum network, but if you still have questions, reach out to support through ZenDesk or ask in our onsite chat room.
