After a whirlwind of anticipation, trepidation, and a bit of disappointment, Yuga Labs’ latest development is unveiled. As a result, collectors of the HV-MTL NFT collection can dive into a game of strategy that doubles as pet care, ultimately evolving into a ball-out dungeon his crawler.
Through game mechanics, players are challenged to build functional workshops for their mechanical companions. Essentially, we’re looking for the most efficient way to feed our energy. They then use it to open a ‘rift’ and jump into the terrifying enemy territory. Meanwhile, a leaderboard mechanism sees community members vote for their favorite workshops, which determines the quality of future upgrades.
EARN AMP TO LEVEL UP EVO2
All HV-MTL NFTs start as a basic EVO1 version of the virtual robot companion, but joining the Forge opens up the opportunity to level up to EVO2. Gamers can achieve this by collecting up to 6 upgrades called “AMPs”. You need at least 3 of them to evolve into EVO2.
According to the supporting documentation, players will receive 1 AMP for participating in each of the 6 seasons. However, the rarity of the upgrades obtained ties into her final position on the leaderboard, increasing the desirability, power, and value of her connected NFTs.
6 seasons to understand the forge
The Forge will last a total of 6 seasons. The first season begins on his June 29th and lasts three weeks. Season 2 will follow soon after, promising even more utility for BAYC, MAYC and BAKC NFTs.
